Bandelier National Monument, Part II
In the first photo, you can see how holey the rock is. Chick is standing in the ruins of the village of Tyuonyi (QU-weh-nee). The village and nearby dwellings were at their height in the late 1400s.
We crawled up a ladder into some of the rock caves that ancestral pueblo people had carved out.
Chick loved Bandelier!
