âBut I donât do idols!â are Chanyeolâs last crying words, before the manager slams the door closed and heâs left alone in the small dressing room. âI really donât,â he says, softer this time, mostly to himself.
Chanyeol has been working for the magazine of his home publishing group for 3 years now. While he does not need the job, being an already published author, it helps him keep busy under those lasting writerâs blocks, and it allows him to meet people and discover stories. He does not do mainstream topics, mostly meeting with behind the scene staff and profiles instead of artists or entertainers.Â
Heâs never done an interview for a singer, much less an idol.Â
When he leaves the dressing room, heâs seems composed, dressed to the nines and looking tall in his fitted blazer (an early Christmas gift from his mother). There is a room already assigned where the interview is to be conducted, and he takes the seat not facing the camera, sighing softly and looking down at his empty notepad. He needs questions, first of all, and he has an hour before the interview to crunch those out. Pulling out his phone, he opens up his browser and puts in the name of the idol.
