Dear lord if you guys were still in school together he’d ask his chauffeur to pick you up so you guys can go to school together

He’d call you princess, every single day. You weren’t used to it at first but it sticked to you after awhile

Honestly dating him feels so luxurious, it almost feels like you’re those aristocrats back in the days

Atobe treats you with care, if there’s something bothering you, he’d ask his servants to prepare stuff to pamper you

“If its for you, princess, I’ll grant anything in the world for you,”

And most of the time you just want comfort from him and he’ll give you all the attention you deserve.

Eventhough he can be a bit narcissistic at times, he actually has the heart of gold when he cares for someone

Yukimura Seiichi

Yukimura, a very gentle boyfriend. His demeanor is really soft, you love hearing him talk

And some nights when you can’t sleep, you’d call him and he’d tell you just random stuff until the end of line goes silent

Loves taking you out to botanical gardens, and enjoys picnic dates with you

“Your beauty could never be compared to any of the flowers here, (y/n) my love. You’re just too breathtaking,”

You’d go red and hit him softly and he’d just grab your hand and pull you down on the grass and chuckle

Loves giving you forehead kisses

Whenever you guys spend time at home, he’d always have dancing sessions with you, slow dances most of the time. He enjoys just moving around with his arms around your waist

Shiraishi Kuranosuke

Okay but shiraishi is hands down the kindest boyfie ever aaaa he’s gentler than yukimura but like not the soft kind

Loves loves giving you back hugs!

And he’d give subtle neck kisses when you guys are alone

Calls you baby in a very ~sweet~ tone

And when he whines, its rlly cute cause he’d go “baabyyyy, if you’re not gonna hold my hand I’m gonna go to gabriel,”

Also he’d always kiss the back of your hand

Mornings are the best cause he’d wake up and make you breakfast and he’d bring it to the bed, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so eat up okay?” And he’d feed you

Tanegashima Shuji

He pinches your cheeks and nose all the time

But then he’d give you a kiss after <3

Often nuzzles against you, especially at the crook of ur neck cause he finds it comfy

Otherwise when in private he’d snuggle against your chest

“I don’t know why but I can never get tired looking at you, especially when you smile. But I don’t like it when I see other guys make you smile though, weird right?”

When you’re sad, he’d always do the stupid things he does more often, never failed to make you laugh

But if you’re really sad, he’d give you the comfiest hug ever and lull you to sleep, patting your back softly

Things I LOVE About Prince of Tennis

- The amount of work Konomi sensei puts in (especially in the beginning of the series) to compare his characters playing styles and moves to actual tennis players and their playing styles

-How Konomi sensei works in his side characters explaining the way tennis works to newer team members or Sakuno and Tomoka so it fits the storyline and he doesn't have to do a bunch of sidepanel explaining the game

-You don't have to like tennis to enjoy the series (especially the anime) but, if you do like tennis and don't mind a little more action you can enjoy it too!

-CHARACTER. DEVELOPMENT. EVEN THE SIDE CHARCTERS.

-Said characters being show doing stuff outside of tennis! It's nice to see the characters be like us with their own hobbies and such and a lot of sports animes solely focus on the sport and the characters playing the sports alone

-How a team can still work well even with team members who don't get along

-Different approaches to tennis! Yes, they all take it seriously, but some do it more so than others and it's fascinating to see how each team approaches tennis and wins and losses

-Valentine Choco Ranking 'nuff said. (Long live King Davide~)

-The fact that each school has their history and back stories with each other before the protagonist joined and it still plays into the storyline

-The protagonist being on his team helped make it stronger vs the usual "This-school-was-weak-until-the-protagonist-joined" or the "Protagonist-is-the-only-really-talented-player-except-for-the-person-he-looks-up-to" storyline

-Not just sole focus on the protagonist!!! We may not get the other rivals much until Shin Tenipuri, but we at least get a glimpse into the other players on the same team as the protagonist developing as well as glimpses into how some of the other players develop or improved skills.
