Today, amongst the numerous exciting things occurring recently at the company, P NATION announced that their first ever group, CORE4, would be getting a major addition to their popular group concept: A joint group project with a new four-piece group within the company.

The co-ed group shocked domestic audiences by taking first place in MNET’s competition show called "Kingdom: Legendary War" one year ago, and their success is only the start of what P NATION has in store for them. At the annual press conference for the entire company, CEO, and artist, PSY, explained that this new group would be the only addition to the project because he "doesn’t want to erase the original vision for CORE4, or their group bond."

Following this, the company also confirmed that the lineup will have no more than four members; they will be revealed once per month (from May to August) on the fourth, they are slated to debut in September 2022 with a concept connected to the new world that their current counterparts are to discover in their first & upcoming special album, ODE TO 4.

"When creating this new group, we worked hard with CORE4 and let them have access to the entire process. We felt it was important to have a diverse set of eyes who could see the things that we potentially couldn’t recognize, such as deeper group chemistry and possible unit leaders. We’ve been preparing this for almost two years now, it’s been a long time coming. The name of both groups combined is going to be called ‘U-4,’ which is short for UNIVERSE-4, so keep an eye out for new hints and references from CORE4. As for the biggest question: do these new members have a good relationship with CORE4? Absolutely. That was one of the most crucial parts of this plan. The new additions seem to create a perfect storm of variety and opportunity, their ages range from 27 to 21 years old, their designated positions also offer a lot of creative opportunities. After their upcoming release, CORE4 is predicted to take on their first world tour as this new group prepares for debut. Sources have yet to confirm if (and when) we will see U-4 together in action soon, but it seems that fans will get to experience this by the end of 2022!
