Q: How about Lisa?
Kumagai: I didn’t understand her...
Ihara: I didn’t understand her until the end, either. When I asked the director, he said “Well, women are something we don’t understand.” I was trying to capture her one-dimensionally. She is a bit timid but at the same time she can become emotional. He said I shouldn’t be logical; instead I should motivate her with emotions, which convinced me.
Seko: I understand. But Lisa is a character I like. It is because I wrote episode 4, but when I watched episode 1 and 2, I thought: She has this cuteness that is difficult to quantify.
Kumagai: She is girly in the way that her actions are not logical. Life-like. In that sense, I understood Five more than Lisa. She is straight forward.
