Events have conspired to make me a little late.

But I got here at about 5:05, and I'm still the only person at Pinkberry. (It's 5:20.)

I'm going to walk around the main level for a bit to see if anyone got lost. I'm wearing all white and Jade glasses (turns out that they're prescription, and pretty close to mine), long hair worn down, with a purple and pink backpack.

If I don't find anyone, I'll come back to Pinkberry and sit here still, and you're more than welcome to join me.

I have tournaments most weekends which makes my options kinda tied to the weekdays. Do we want to do it Nov. 3rd at 5:30 and stay in one place more-or-less for a further half hour or so to make sure that Homestucks that have late classes can find us?

Hey hun! Your meet up sounds like tons of fun! That being said, I want to warn you that there is a convention, Tucson Comic Con during your meeting date! I just wanted to see if you were aware, because that'll (unfortunately) cut into your attendees, and is actually the reason I wont make it D: But regardless, have fun!

I'll figure out a different date. But it's good to know there's a convention that weekend because I can plan a different meet-up and go to the con if there's still tickets for sale!!!! Thanks!

University of Arizona Homestuck Meet-up

Track #uameetup for updates! (As well as #tucsonstuck and #azstuck, but with our own tag it won't get lost in floods.)

In almost two weeks, on November 4th 2nd, Homestucks from UA campus will get together in an awesome gathering. We'll meet at noon 5PM in the Pinkberry at the main Student Union and we'll have a ton of fun!

But first, some ground rules:

No grey makeup. Even if it's sealed, it's still got the potential to rub onto stuff and we don't want that.

Cosplay with caution. Don't wear horns that are too heavy for your head, make-up that can rub off on stuff (see rule 1), bring along easily-breakable props, have props that simulate weapons, all that jazz. This is not a ban on cosplay - I plan to test-run my Jade there. It's just a warning to be careful, especially with trolls and delicate stuff.

No assaulting people. I doubt this will be a problem, since we're all university students and therefore supposedly mature, but I know it has been a problem in past meet-ups and I don't want any repeats.

Anyone that violates the rules will be asked to comply or leave the meet-up. While these are mostly guidelines and I'm more likely to tell you to run to your car real quick and come back when you've dropped off your chainsaw/sickles/horns/whathaveyou or washed off your makeup, if you assault people you will be escorted off premises and off campus. Probably by cops.

That's actually all the rules I can think of. I'll add more if I have to.

My name is Alex and I'll be doing a test-run of a Jade cosplay (sans glasses, since I like to be able to see) and I'm organizing this whole affair. ^_^ If anyone wants to help in any way, shoot me an ask and I'll be glad to talk to you! I'm a freshie and this is my first time organizing an event with teenagers/adults rather than elementary school kids.
