So my activity is probably going to continue to be a mess especially with the next week looking ridiculously hectic help me, but I just watched the newest Pokemon Sun and Moon trailer and I just want to say UB-03 is now my child and I will protect him at all costs.

I don’t know if catching or battling with ultra beasts is a thing but I will protect him at a distance if need be because he foR SOME INEXPLICABLE REASON ADORABLE TO ME.

So far it seems UB-03 is the Ultra Beast with the most variety in translated codenames.Whether it’s simply going from Lightning to Lighting or in this example I have decided to make for a light lesson of sorts,the French name.

I felt like doing this because when most people encounter the word “Éclair” they will likely think like a search engine and result with...

And given not everyone has gone through even the most simple of brushes with the French language or a piece of media where a character is in a situation which makes them say a line like this:

My response was to perform a somewhat unnecessary “All the names have some relation to light[ning]”.When it comes to the dessert portion the research did comment on how it’s not known for certain why the treat ended up being called “lightning” with possibly explanations being how it has some lightweight qualities or how someone might eat it in a flash.

Previously mentioned this was kind of unnecessary but if you enjoyed it and now want to draw this beast doing something like hanging out in Lumiose City with an éclair in its wiry fingers then go on and do that.I was simply letting a few thoughts out of the way.
