Entering into the controversy:

1) Ashton seemed like she was in a lot of pain. Let her cry.

2) I didn't like seeing Nina celebrating while someone was still competing. I'm not gonna blacklist her for it, but I didn't like it. Let's just say, gymnasts could do better by respecting the other gymnasts competing, even when they know they're going to beat them. I am glad Nina was happy, but I just wish she would have waited.

*I think it was 2014 Europeans, the one where Denis won, like, everything. I don't remember which final it was, but they showed a clip of a coach going for a high five but he politely refused it until the last guy was finished and his score was in. It may have just been superstition, but I thought it was a great display of sportsmanship.
