Headcanons for the Uberkids (cuz they're a mystery to me)
Pico vs Uberkids was released in the year 2000, 3 years after that, the REAL Human Genome Project (the one that the Uberkids came from) was completed. Although they did generate the first sequence of a human genome, there were no real genetically engineered people made. So the Uberkids were created during the early 2000s.
I had my head scratching around for their ethnicity/nationality (if they even have one). The REAL Human Genome Project had a few different countries participating it and Germany is one of them (Pico's School and his home is in Philly which is in the US btw). I don't think they have a built-in nationality, it can more based on their creator or where they were made. The reason why Germany is mentioned is because the word "uber" is German for "above". What I mean is they can be German-American, or not! Who knows?
The Uberkids probably didn't know or understand some things straight away when they were made. They'd look at a baby for the first time and tilt their head at it in confusion or be surprised at what a house looks like (sonic snapcube reference). Basically having the mentality of an adolescent teenager without a memory of younger days, some kind of level between naivety and extreme knowledge of things and being clueless on what "normal life" is (geez that's a mouthful).
What I mean by teenage mentality is because Fulp confirmed that most characters are high-school seniors (ages around 16-18). We don't know how these guys were created and what the frick do they qualify as. I think they were 'set' as teens and then would develop from there....idk.
Some of Pico's classmates had a debate whether the Uberkids' skin was shiny or just paint.
Ubersam is probably the "eldest" of the two, Uberjon is the "middle child" and Uberfred is the "youngest". Judging from the fact on how they're lined up and what order there are seen in Pico vs Uberkids.
All of the siblings do not give a damn about anything, not even a frick to openly give to, they can be a bit scary at times because of lack of expression in emotions or having an odd humour. Going off-canon, of course they were bitter about their loss after being revived in Pico: Unloaded, but they kinda just don't care any more.
That's all I have for now, thank you for listening to me waffle about the genetically engineered kids that only officially made a minuscule amount of appearances in the games.
uhhh teens, they're teens here.
i'm not sure about uberfreds design here. i was thinking about the uberkids looking and being like some stereotypical bullies, but it doesnt really fit with the designs i made for when they are kids and for when they are adults.
