Which is available on Steam with 93% Very Positive reviews. Little Bat Games just released the first in a series of updates for Vampire Therapist, in The Blood of Troy. Out now for their debut Linux title that’s already got people talking. If you’ve played the original title, this new content is free for you. Since it’s all about diving deeper into the life of Andromachos, your 3000-year-old vampire mentor. This guy’s been through a lot, and now it’s your job to help him work through his past. The first update, titled The Blood of Troy, is live now. It lets you experience the story of Rome’s founding, but with a twist — doing so through the eyes of an immortal vampire. This session will take you about 30-60 minutes to play, so it’s perfect for when you’re in the mood for a quick but meaningful dive into Andromachos’ mind. What’s really great is that this is just the beginning. Little Bat has two more updates planned for 2024: Spanish Nights and Fathoms Below. Spanish Nights will focus on pre-Renaissance Spain. While Fathoms Below explores the birth of psychoanalysis. So yeah, it’s not just about sucking blood — this is some serious mental therapy with a historical twist.
Vampire Therapist Accolades Trailer (before The Blood of Troy)
The team behind Vampire Therapist wanted to give a special shout-out to the fans who’re already playing and liking the game. Cyrus Nemati, Creative Director at Little Bat, says they are blown away by how players connected with the title. As a thank you, they’re releasing The Blood of Troy and more free content to give you even more of the story. And also to help you learn about Andromachos' past. If you have yet to play it, Vampire Therapist is a narrative type adventure. It’s got a vibe similar to What We Do in the Shadows, with a mix of horror and humor. There is also a bit of Monty Python and even some Horrible Histories in there too. But this anything but your typical visual novel — it’s fully voiced and feels like you’re in an interactive play. Plus, it’s for mature audiences, so expect some deeper themes. The title is receiving a lot of praise for how it handles therapy in a real, relatable way, and the voice acting is top-notch. It’s currently rocking a Very Positive rating on Steam, and it’s easy to see why. With The Blood of Troy is out now, you can explore how Andromachos became a vampire. And yes, there’s a massive horse in there too. If you want to stay in the loop, head over to the Vampire Therapist Steam page to catch the latest details. Available with a price of $14.99 USD / £12.79 / 14,79€. Along with support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC.
