#Dodd1 Blogg Post

Hello My Name Is…… Social Media has become its own form of communication within itself and this class (#Dodd1) is helping me realize more and more that my blogging skills are not as up to par as they should be. Although I have my own blog I would NOT consider myself to be a veteran blogger because I do not utilize it as much as I would like to, but that will all change within the course of this semester. My name is Amanda “Mandie B” Booz and I am a senior here at the University of Central FL, double majoring in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications and Radio Television. I really hope to learn the ins and outs of social media from this class to help make myself more knowledgeable in this ever so changing world of social media. In my future career as a journalist I will someday land my dream job on E! and use this blogging platform to talk about the things that interest me such as music, fashion, culture and entertainment. I would also like to use this tool to showcase my genuinely goofy personality to the world! This semester I plan on doing so much more blogging and I’m thinking about creating a WordPress account as well but I just figured I’d use my tumblr for this post since it was already created. This needs to be my online resume and I strongly believe this class can take me to that next level. I’m making an online vow today to be more engaged in blogging my thoughts and unique opinions. I will be extremely open and honest about what I feel in my post while bringing a creative perspective on things. This is the beginning to something so epic! Thank Professor Dodd J
