I finally have a design for these two that I'm satisfied with. You will not believe how long I struggled to get Tajul's look just right.
I also had this little exchange in my head for years.

Each of your OCs is gifted a shiny rock. What do they do with it?
Emerald transmutes it into a shinier rock.
Vanessa sees if she can throw it through the skull of Golden Boy.
Tajul keeps it on her end table as a little decoration. She's sentimental.
Uchawi will inspect it for any magical properties.
Taldrea will have it fitted to the butt of her anal plug.
What's Tajul whispering to her girl? ;)
