(from theredpalace) "Are you really supposed to be my grandmother?" Musashi was suspicious as ever, frowning and putting his hands on his hips. "You don't look old enough."

“...” Jun goes quiet for a moment and tilts her head to the side. Madara has his reasons for things, and she assumes that this is one of them. “I was 15 when I had Madara, so there’s not a lot of time between us.”
It’s best to be honest, she decides. Her hair is just now starting to grey, but even now it’s more pepper than salt. She supposes it’s her upbringing or the fact that she’s been rather sheltered her whole life--her only true job being to raise her children.
Make no mistake, she did attain a law degree and pass the bar exam later--much later, but.. she only started truly working once all of her children were able to take care of their basic needs.
“Madara tells me that you like samurai. Did he tell you we have a family dojo and a school of swordsmanship?” As was traditional for older, Japanese families. It’s one of the few things her parents kept when they immigrated. “He wasn’t one for the swordsmanship style, but I could teach you if you wanted.”
