Well, this is a part of Spirale that even Hornet hasn't seen yet. Considering how she had spent nearly her entire first month here mentally mapping out the island, she's surprised she managed to overlook this area of the Bamboo Grove, despite how deserted it may be. Bamboo is yet another plant she's unfamiliar with, and she finds herself wandering through the area in near wonder. How could something so thin and yet so firm be a plant? It's simply fascinating... Even if that is what Quirrel would say.
After what feels like hours of wandering around amid the bamboo, Hornet comes across a clearing, obscured by a thick layer of plants. Peering through the leaves, she catches sight of a human– smaller than most she's seen here. Is he... fighting? No, no, he's training. He practices with a weapon Hornet's never seen before, but she finds herself entranced by it. The way he moves, with such confidence... She wants to fight like that. The stranger moves past her line of sight, and Hornet leans in to get a better look–
Until the bamboo she was leaning on snaps, and she falls forward into his training area. She looks up at the stranger, who's noticed her by now, and panics. She can't just run away from this, right? She should say something. What does she say? Apologize, she should apologize.
"I– Uh..." Real smooth, Hornet.
