If it weren't for her good hearing of something falling onto the ground while she was cleaning up her Dojang or the scent of a person nearby, she probably wouldn't have noticed something was wrong. The broom is dropped abruptly and the Gumiho is stepping out quickly. To have lost consciousness anywhere NEAR mistwood was not safe.

She's quick to spot the child scoop him up in her arms and dash right back into the nearest area. Her dojang was safe, and warm, and padded where the martial artists would train and spar. She places him there.

He must be new if he was using up his energy to do something.

Dashing and stoping in front of a group of civlians that were about to be attacked, he erects a five layer barrier between them and the enemy. Familiar uniforms, he thinks as five giant fireballs slam into his barrier. Breaking three. But the speciality of the Phalanx barrier is that the barrier behind it will always be spent on renewing itself!

 Another cast as two barriers drop on themselves to the enemy head, knocking them out. 

But there were so much people he can’t expend more energy like this...

Well...that's not someone he knows. Strange. All the other unknown people up until now never shared such a striking similarity to the people of his country. Perhaps a little earlier, not when he was a Demon Moon. Before that. He would see people dressed similarly as they approached the red light district where he and his sister always lived. This one seems...dangerous. The tired eyes look directly, unblinking, as a permanent frown stuck as a normal facial expression for the former Demonic Moon.

"What'cha want, man?" He was armed. And the danger that came off this man was much bigger than that pillar. He had heard that those who were the longest were also prone to getting their abilities back, one by one. He didn't believe it, but maybe there's some truth to that. Well. time will tell. For now? He was cautious. It's not often that people are wandering outside during the night. A hero or a killer. Which one is this?

     Didn’t seem like he was going to catch up to that fox anytime soon. By the time the animal disappeared out of sight, he was already out of breath with palms rested on quaking knees. So much for wanting to pet them. Now what was he going to do? The more he looked around, the longer he realized just how deep he’d followed the cute creature.

     No worries. No problems. Just put on your thinking cap! Maybe back tracking in a straight line would get him back to the roads. But would he make it before nightfall...?

     Could he make it before nightfall at all? What if foxes weren’t the only animals wandering around these odd groves. What if there were bears. Or vengeful spirits. Or worse... Vengeful bear spirits. So much for that thinking cap; all his mind is able to do is entertain a never ending bag-full of frightening scenarios that haven’t even happened yet. 

     It’s no wonder the instant he hears footsteps approaching close by that he drops down to the ground with a cowardly scream.
