||  Just the mere thank you made his smile grow wide, he giggled at how she seemed proud of him. Something so simple like being first to the door was a good enough achievement for him. He began walking out of the restaurant, making sure that his pace matched up with hers. 

 「 Where are you going to go next teacher? 」

  He asked, eager to start up training again. She had promised water training but not being very good at it, he had tried to change the subject or hoped she had forgotten through lunch.

As she steps closer, Madara takes her hand with a smile, even if she cant see it in the dark. “Come with me” He whispers. He leaves the room, guiding his sister through the halls of their house. Keeping his chakra at a low level so he wouldn’t be noticed by any intruders, he grows uncertain about what could be lurking.

“I don’t know.. But we need to stay quiet.” Who knows what dangers are nearby.

This was odd to him. The woman was wearing the Uchiha crest. He hasn’t seen her around, even before his brother killed off the entire clan. Was there another branch that lived distant from the village? If so no one ever talked about them. If she doesn’t have the bloodline then who did she marry that did? 

He wasn’t about ready to let this rest. He had to know the reason for it. If it wasn’t a good reason then he will consider it a mockery to his bloodline.

“You, woman.” He reaches out in an attempt to get her attention. “What relation do you have to the Uchiha Clan?”

  Finding the old compounds had been easy enough. Breaking in had also been a simple task, what with the crude structures and locks being used. But, wandering around a territory that seemed to leap off of the pages of a history book,          Sai could have used the word ‘unnerving’ to describe the sensation.

    “ Who would’ve thought someone so noteworthy          would be so hard to find? Least of all here, ” he pondered aloud. The mission was self-assigned, and perhaps that was why it wasn’t going according to plan. As he had observed by now, things rarely seemed to obey the plans of a lone agent. Deciding that he’d go about it the ‘old fashioned’ way, to match his target audience, he plucked one of his brushes from his hip pouch. Turning it over, he dragged the wooden handle along the side of one of the buildings so that the noise rattled through what he assumed was a courtyard or receiving area.             “ Come out, come out, ”                   He didn’t finish the end of the taunt.

Legends held no power until there was an image in the mind of the people that accompanied their words. Kurotsuchi was traveling to put such pictures to the old stories.
