The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean is registered with and recognised by the University Council of Jamaica (#UCJ), the national accreditation and external quality assurance body for higher education, as a University College. Registration and recognition mean that UCC is accredited to offer academic, vocational, technical, and professional programmes and to confer awards ranging from certificates through to the graduate level. The University focuses primarily on teaching and the transmission of knowledge, supported by research, professional and community service. Registration with the University Council of Jamaica speaks to a rigorous and continuous internal quality assurance system and framework that will assure our institution, our students and other stakeholders that awards given in UCC’s name satisfy best practice international standards, and that students have appropriate opportunities within an enabling environment to meet those standards. What are you passionate about?

I'm passionate about my family, baking & pastry, people and life about doing what I love because that's leads to a happy life. it's hard work. Nothing in life is easy but at the end I love the outcome. I love how desserts can be intimate, special, make that moment sweet and unforgettably meaningful and when I get compliments on my desserts it's just the icing on the cake. It took hard work to get to where I'm at today. I still have a lot to learn. I'm also passionate about God, God has blessed me with the ability to work with unique people these people bring meaning to my life at times I wish I had the power to do more in their lives. I know there is more in store for me but I have stay on the righteous path. I'm not perfect I know that failure/ mistakes happen but I will not give up. I love God because with out God I wouldn't have anything! I've seen what life looks like without God and I don't want a life of dwelling in pain and suffering. Than again when it comes to suffering honestly I can not judge suffering I never knew suffering until I worked where I do and man all I've learned is that suffering and death have no mercy. Life is unpredictable and suffering is a real bitch. That's why I have so much love for what I do. At times It's hard to work in a negative atmosphere but I enjoys being the light in the darkness. I love being the flower that blooms in winter. These guys are strong they don't see but I do and their strength gives me strength. I have the gift of working with them in a sober state of mind because I know their loved ones yearn for that moment. that's honestly my favorite thing about my career baking with love (loved ones, my boys). I will always love my boys no matter what!!!They're only cruel because the world is cruel to them and people don't understand that. I do! So I'll show them the love. -To my UCJ Kitchen Workers (my boys) I'm sorry for your suffering. Trust me when I say I wish I could make the pain disappear. I heart you guys! Live your passion and give love! peace and many blessings don't give up. I'll be praying you guys always and forever! Thank you!!! For being my light!!
