Sam Kelly - 19 years old. 18th September 1996. Australia. “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.”
Before I became a manager at the supermarket I work at, I worked the checkouts at another store. There was this one time, late at night, I noticed some people stealing and as I went to confront them, they came into my register; wrist raised to hit me. My manager at the time, along with a group of staff, ran over to me screaming at these two guys, scaring them off. I was very shaken at the time and I hated working for weeks afterwards, especially when it came to confronting shoplifters. But the teenagers responsible ended up getting charged with theft and assault and I never saw them again at that store, which I only stayed at for another year afterwards before moving to a new one. -Sunday 29th May 2016 boredfrombrisbane.tumblr.com
