One of the coolest and most unexpected moments at the Ball last night was meeting these 3 lovely ladies in person!! Having grown up and spent my most significant childhood years with their Moms growing up in Piedmont. I lived more at their Moms house than I did my own. And most definitely spent all of my weekends there. The girls said they had heard a lot of stories. I can imagine these lovely ladies sitting around a dining room table with their cousins and aunts, gabbing and cackling, and sipping white wine, rather than our drink of choice back then, which was TAB. How beautiful to finally meet in person. I’ve watched them grow up on social media. Which is a nice thing. To be able to be in touch with old friends even though you are logistically separated. When we met, it was as if we had known each other for years. I know their Moms are proud as well as Colin and Margot are too. (RIP Grandma and Grandpa).
