I packaged my level last night but found that it felt empty and lifeless. So I went back into the engine and started working on some simple blueprints, usingn skills I learnt form my pre production stage where I learnt a to use matinee and the blueprint system. I created activatable terminals, an elevator, ambient sound, new projectiles and doors. the example above is of a door which when
you enter a trigger box, a matinee animation is triggered. this causes the door to slide open. I then added sound to accompany this as well as a flash light on the other side to create the illusion of a sun. I then a dded a s a extra a button to the side which changed from green to red depending on if the door was open or closed.
I'm glad I used these blueprint skills again as it really helped give the level a new breath of life
