I could go for a bowl of beef udon and either a taro milk tea or passion fruit black tea with aloe vera chunks, right about now. But do I wanna get out of bed and make that long trek to the city? Nah. Why'd they have to close the spot in flushing though -___- I coulda went shopping for some pocky and other goodies right after.

Besides the blistering weather, my night in Manhattan was extremely productive. You know when you get that feeling to just forget about everything that's going on in your life? To just sit back & enjoy the company around you? 

I love having people in my life who know how to stimulate my mind. The conversations were fluctuating on so many different levels; from betrayal, accommodations, expectations, ones solitude, internal dilemmas, time management, boundaries, the yearn you get for certain people, lust, and memories from middle school that felt like yesterday.

Adjusting to how friendships can evolve over the years can be sometimes frustrating just for the simple fact of how schedules seem to never be in sync. I'm glad that even though my childhood friends all go to different colleges now, we're still able to set aside time for each other. I know when I look back to my late high school/early college years, these are the moments I'm going to remember vividly. Picking up where you last left off with someone- you can't just do with anybody.

Why isn't there an Udon West in the vicinity of my neighborhood?

Like out of all places it had to be one by Lexington and one all the way out in Flushing.

Make one in Jamaica man. :| 

Or at least offer delivery.
