“—How are you today?” (CC & CT)
Cecil feels a chill down his spine, like something, or someone, was watching him; though he supposes that wasn’t quite uncommon in Queensland. Before he could turn around to look, he feels a weight on his shoulder, flinching just slightest, but the presence was familiar enough.
“Hello, Christian,” he greets the kitten, laying down his pen to gently pet it’s head. “You don’t have to startle me like that. How are you today?”
“Hello, Cecil!” The kitten mewled out, voice high pitched and child-like, followed by loud, content purring as it rubbed its head against Cecil’s petting hand, “You were surprised, right? Right?” Moving its head from the hand, the kitten, Christian, began to nuzzle against the half-doll’s cheek, giving the skin a small lick,
“I’m doing good, but I missed you, so I came to visit! How are you today, Cecil?”
