Finally getting to breathe

When does the Bounty Hunter stop? When the bounty is collected. No time to stop and smell the roses, or update my logs. Who knew this 'vacation' would so work heavy. They've got me running down bounties left and right, as well as having my own... personal missions. Gotta make that money since credits are no good. Also gotta know what my employers want. Some want paper, some want shells. Here's hoping that my less than reputable past has led me down the right path with Bigs and his little set up; smuggler to Bounty hunter. That's all for now. Don't get to enjoy the fun tonight as my personal mission takes me to less dangerous yet more profitable places. -Boba

The Soldier's Woes

The problem with being the Elite within an Elite is that you don't always think the same. Death doesn't hit your squad like it does other squads. Failure doesn't come to your squad like it does other squads. You don't run our of ammo like other squads, you don't have weapon malfunctions like other squads, you don't experience fatigue like other squads. You simply are not other squads... Yet, all of those things do effect your squad. Death takes a personal face when the body found has the cap badge of the 501st stained with blood; a face that you see on every enemy you gun down. Failure comes in a crushing wave of relentless guilt on the evac out; a wave that threatens to overtake you until you cannot bear to experience it again. You pack a heavy kit to guarantee you never run out of ammo again. You drill your weapons over and over again until that RapTac is a part of your body. You train your body to march for miles so that when you've been running non-stop for six hours, you can still tab another three and fight the entire way. Fighting to survive just isn't enough for the 501st. We fight because that is the only way we can get through the day. Unpaid vacation my ass. This is more like unpaid existence...
