i was thinking about blipbug and its evolutions and it struck me.... its like a little xfiles nerd who grows up to be a real UFO....... the radar/doppler/whatever theme isnt my cup of tea but im gay for UFOs so i choose to interpret the evolutions as that now... blipbug becomes spaceboy

oh yeah that seems to be what it’s going for! I’m not super about the theme, it’s not bad though, I just feel like... I wish it was done differently? like I wish orbeetle wasn’t so angry and edgy looking, and they just continued the line looking as dorky as blipbug... like if it were up to be he wouldn’t become a ufo at all but if I had to design something with that theme, I’d keep him as a dorky little bug and like, have him riding around in a little ufo or something
