Helping people was what he did, it almost came automatically to him. It had been that way since he was a child, and the five years that had passed him by in society had done little to change that-- if anything, his experience among others had heightened his wish to assist. So, when he caught the sight of an obviously uncomfortable girl his age-- ( younger? older? ) he had immediately moved towards her. The crowd was putting her off, making her freeze in place. Such a thing wasn’t uncommon, there would always be those uneasy in large gatherings of people.
It didn’t mean he should just leave her be, leave her suffering alone.
❝ Miss? ❞ he kept his tone gentle, waving a hand before her instead of outright touching her. Didn’t want to spook her more than she already was. ❝ Would you like me to lead you out of the crowd? Get you to someplace quieter perhaps? ❞ In such a place it was not exactly ‘right’ to trust a stranger but at the very least, he hoped she would trust he was merely here to help.
