❝ well , i wouldn’t say panic … ❞ de-stress , tammy would rather call it , but one way or another it would lead to the very same thing . if she took a moment to analyze things , to study her own picture , it would only lead to overthinking and anxiety . still , tamasin needed that . a few moments off , far from the talking and the planning and vogue , and from all things that characterized her return to the con business . ❝ but i could really use a little bit of that . ❞ carefully , tammy approaches the other’s figure , arms crossed in front of her body like an armor , a wrinkle shattering her forehead in two . sometimes , she just had to remind herself to breathe . back home she’d hide in the garage , between the shelves she kept so very secret , and enjoy some of the candy she always said she had bought for the kids . accepting one of the spoons rose hands her , tamasin leans against the counter and allows her eyes to close in a sigh . tired , but from the kind of exhaustion that only ever happens when you’re making things happen . and god , did she miss that .
