This episode of Empire broke my heart on so many levels. 

But the song and the moment when Jamal came out was so SO beautiful. It must be my favorite moment on the show so far! I'm so proud and happy he finally did it !!!

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to spend Christmas with my best (and only) friend and her family(s). We went to her moms house where we spent time with her brothers and sisters and step-brothers and sisters and grandma's and grandpa's. Then we went to her dad's and spent time with more of her siblings and half-siblings and their cousins and their parents and grandparents, just a lot a lot of people. 

It was really nice but the point is, I just found myself very worried for when I come out publicly. I just don't know how those people are going to understand. How do I explain it to all of these people? My best friend and her family is so important to me. 

Her mom's new boyfriend used the F word yesterday. We were watching a movie with Taylor Lautner and he goes "That's that faggot from that other movie right? That twilight shit? I don't like that gay shit, no way" So what is he going to think of me? 

My best friend and her family have known me since I was 7, it's just going to be so so weird and hard for me to explain and change how they view me since they've seen me this way since I was young :(
