... sometimes you see a piece of fic or art that looks great and then the caption or tags calls your blorbo a cunt or a whore and you spend too long wondering if you're being too sensitive before deciding no: pop culture brainrot and tv and cultural misogyny don't stop being disgusting just because someone's uncritically aping some reality show nonsense and calling a male character sexist, dehumanizing words-- so you don't read the fic and don't reblog the art and maybe you even block the user because you're so fucking tired of reflexive hatred of women masquerading as humor when in fact it's just pathetic and goddamned depressing.
sometimes the kids are not alright.
please. try to be earnest and kind, or at least don't be surprised when some people don't think you're funny and won't share your actually talented work.
