[ hi doves! my name is rose and i come from the gmt+3 timezone. i’ve only written here for a few minutes and i’m already shook by how talented and creative y’all are??? like, how did i miss this group before?? anyhoe, my first muse is this angel called sylvia. you can guess what you’ll find under the cut. ]

⋆ ◦ ° ☾ nina dobrev + female + she/her — have you seen sylvia bandini? she sure has been hanging out at the capital arena a lot recently. she is a twenty-seven year old known as the savior, and she currently works for the cobras as a medic, which she’s been doing for six years. a heterosexual pisces, she is caring + loyal, as well as impulsive + sensitive. starry nights, warm breezes and rose petals.

Sylvia was born in Bulgaria to a nurse of a mother and a painter of a father. 

Her dad was obsessed with recreating famous paintings which he sold in a small gallery for fun. He never tried to convince his buyers that they were getting the authentic ones. 

Sylvia was only three years old and her little brother a newborn, when the family packed and moved to Valdez permanently with little to no preparation after a “””””businessman””””” contacted her dad and told him he’d buy all of his paintings and hire him to recreate more. It was good money, better than the family’s current income, so he accepted. (I mean, really? how did you NOT get blinded by these red flags, sylvia’s dad?)

Peace lasted much longer than expected, but it wasn’t bound to last forever. When the truth was discovered, Sylvia was studying med in the us, so she missed the mayhem. 

Her dad’s boss turned out to be a thief for the Cobras *SHOOOK* who stole authentic paintings, worth millions of dollars each, and put her dad’s replicas in their place. When her dad heard on the news about the fraud, he put two and two together. The man was on his way to the police department, planning on exposing the truth, when he got a single shot in the head that ended his life. Her mom was quick to follow.

Sylvia’s world turned upside down. Suddenly, nothing made sense anymore and all normality was gone from her life. She couldn’t think about finishing med school. She knew she and her brother were next. When he refused finding her in the US, she returned in Valdez to get him. Then, she found out he’d joined the Cobras as a soldier so that he and Sylvia would be safe. He pushed Sylvia into doing the same. Knowing she’d hate herself if anything happened to her brother, she accepted. However, she couldn’t fathom blindly executing anyone. Thus, she used the skills she’d gained in med school to become a medic for the Cobras. One can find her in the arena almost every night.

Fast forward six years later (aka today), Sylvia is still bound to this contract and knows there’s no escaping it as long as she lives. She finished med school under surveillance. Her brother’s position in the gank keeps those who fear him away from her, whilst her genuine, caring personality has earned her the trust of people who don’t trust easily.

She’s the most carefree when she’s hanging out with civilians, but even then she has to keep secrets---a fact she hates.

That’s it! As far as connections go, I’m game for absolutely anything: best friend, friends, exes, fwb, crushes, frenemies, someone who’s not really her friend...just gimme all you have in mind.
