saw this this panel and ogata self soothing and just. do you think with it being a smaller and thus more intimate group, those three got close enough to ogata to understand he was uncomfortable. maybe actually felt bad for shooting a deer that belonged to someone. maybe was nervous to speak to a little old man despite the air he gives off.

shiraishi is teasing him, yeah, but that’s not surprising. what’s surprising is the other two aren’t just offering help — they’re offering comfort. A hand on his shoulder, an offering of advice and company. no matter what ogata thought by the end, they really did care about him huh :((((
