i need stiles and derek to meet while trick or treating

like deciding to not reveal who they are until the end of the night

but maybe something happens and they don't get to reveal who they are, maybe they lose track of each other because of other shenanigans happening with their friends

and a week later, derek is morose because he's in love with the skeleton he met taking cora trick or treating. and stiles is smitten with the werewolf he met while out with heather and her little sister. 

and maybe stiles decides to place a personal ad in the penny saver to find his werewolf. <3

betp, it's totally fine. like i'd say a lot of people don't know. i mean, even Habs fans don't know. well, i am sure a lot do. it's just chalked up to yet another problematic sports team name. also - i think a lot had issues of them being called the canadiens when it was a quebec based team and the entire province's geopolitical stance on separation. so - i'm not bothered. i just thought you should know about the weird and problematic history of canada that is dwarfed by the american history at times. i mean, even canadian history gets censored 

did you know rocket richard had a day job as a furniture mover? and he was a legendary hockey player for the canadiens <3

i'm also a big fan of hockey history :D

some canadian history

back in the day, the hockey players were french blue collar workers and had two jobs and their primary was never playing hockey. to call someone a habitant is to call someone white trash/hillbilly/uncultured/backbirth. the slur became accepted and then shortened to kind of disassociate from the actual word which in french is offensive. but it's a derogatory term for working class people. 

also remember that in quebec, from a historical perspective, the english were the rich ruling authority and the french were the working class. the same tension has carried through the generations as most french despite now being the majority and authority in quebec, still hate the english. and are very discriminatory towards english-speaking canada
