Tsurumaru is afraid that when ookanehira comes home, Uguisamaru will spend less time with him, so he tries to spend as much time with him as possible and hopes that saniwa will have trouble getting ookanehira.

Tsurugui pre established relations: Uguisumaru leaves Tsurumaru a letter asking Tsurumaru to marry him before going on a long sortie. Tsurumaru reads said letter and decides he will in fact marry Uguisumaru because they do have to cherish what time they have together, but Uguisumaru breaks on the sortie and ends up being surprised in a whole new horrible manner. Tsurumaru feels like he shoulda seen it coming because anyone who loves him seems to die.

Tsurumaru gives Uguisumaru tea he bought in the modern timeline with saniwa. Uguisumaru gives Tsurumaru practical joke trinkets or really pretty crane themed trinkets.

Uguisumaru confessed to Tsurumaru by singing and Tsurumaru confessed to Uguisumaru by dancing. They are the ultimate birb sons.

//Coughs. There was a small comic about this. Bird Song and Crane Dance by chuuni. They’re both very pretty and amazing. 12/10 would recommend.

Although Uguisumaru was saved from his blistering and all that, he still has faint scars on his body from it, only Tsurumaru knows this.
