idk what alex rider is but from what i've seen from people talking about it it looks like a lot of whump and angst

for a little context, though—i came up with the alex rider AU because i just connected the dots. alex rider is a book series that follows a young schoolboy, alex, whose banker uncle dies; but alex soon finds that his uncle was actually a mi6 agent, and he’s roped into joining mi6 due to his skill, the history of the rider family, and how his young age allows him to pass where other intelligence agents can’t. 

also, like, alex rider fanfic is so good. 

you might see where i thought a hawks rider AU might be interesting.
