and so I went to it with a stick and flipped it over and it was a bird's nest. and I was like hey that looks pretty neat I kind a wish I could take a picture of it. So I started making my way back towards the house and I passed by a little ways away what looked like a little (dead) baby bird... and I was like shit that... that really sucks

so I went back inside with Mac and grabbed my phone and then took her back out making sure she didn't come anywhere near the thing I had seen...

so then I took a picture of the nest but Mackenzie was kind near it so I took another one and she was behind me still on the leash and then I heard a bunch of peeping, and I was like hm I guess some are in the tree or something but then I looked down and there were two bird near us that looked like they were in slightly better but still really bad shape as the other one I had seen

and because I really don't think there's anything I can do I went back inside but then Mac kept whining near the door wanting to go back out and I was going to ignore it but then I was like well maybe she still has to go or something so I took her back out and she kept wanting to go back and so I pulled her back to the door and inside and she's still near the door wanting do go back out again and tbh all this just kind of makes me want to cry and I hate it and feel terrible and I called my mom just to let her know where they were so she wouldn't take Mac near them and almost starting crying telling her and also when I was back outside with Mac and I just feel like shit now great
