Headcanon #1: Death Eater blood runs through Nova's veins. Her father, who narrowly escaped imprisonment in Azkaban after the last war, drilled his hatred of muggleborns into her mind. Nova happily listened, desperately hoping to make her father proud. With a father who only focused on his hatred, she would do anything to earn his love. Even support his beliefs.
Headcanon #2: Shortly after Nova finished her schooling and began her career in the wizarding world, Nova's mother passed away due to "unknown causes". No matter who she asked, no knew (or would admit to knowing) the cause of death. However, Nova had tea with her mother the morning of her death, and she was in perfect health. The last thing she had said to her daughter before they had departed was "be true to yourself".

Ever since she was a little girl Hermione has always known that getting up at an early time was the best way to start your day off. She’d raise no later than 6am, if she was up any later it was due to the fact that she was sick.
From the moment she could walk Hermione was thrown into almost every activity she could be while her parents worked. She learned to play the piano, dance, paint, and many more. To this day she is often found playing the piano around the home. She only paints when she’s feeling very stressed and is having an emotional blockage.
She’s always been a reader, she always loved escaping off to far-off places and getting lost in the pages of a book. This love came straight from her father. It’s never a surprise to see her curled up with a book at night before she falls asleep.
Hermione has always been the type to love and adore animals no matter what they were or what they looked like. She was the first to save a spider from being squashed, would bring a little bit of water to a starving bumble bee, and wouldn’t hesitate in releasing a mouse from a trap if it meant that it could live. This was a trait that didn’t change when she entered the magical world, it only made her love for animals to grow into love for magical creatures as well.
Even though she was shown a lot of love as a child and was never held back from expressing herself, Hermione has a hard time expressing her true emotions. Sometimes she can bottle something up for so long that it will just burst from her and there’s no controlling who she hurts.
Though she loves to take care of those that are important to her Hermione can not cook to save her life. Sure she can throw a simple meal together and it can taste alright but it’s nothing like what Mrs. Weasley can throw together.
To this day she still has nightmares about the war, nothing too serious but it comes and it goes. Her nightmares have been getting worse thanks to the new uprising and her fear is constantly growing for her children do not need to go through what she has.
