Hey guys, Dragon8er here!

And welcome to the Spooky Skeleton Countdown 2025!!! A tradition I started back in 2021, where I post a drawing of a Spooky Sans each of the few days leading to Halloween.

This first Spooky Sans comes from a newer Horror AU. Underground's Horror Tales, created by @jammylovebirds.

Man it's kinda crazy that this is the first AU called Horrortale, innit? Anywho, I thought it'd be a fitting way to start SSC this year.

The next one is sure to creap you out!

Shelf-stable milk is a miracle of food science that Americans just won’t drink.

Think about it for a minute. Here's an item produced at ~100°F that its target consumer (baby cows) loves very much. Its secondary consumer (humans) won't touch it until it reaches the end of a 'cold chain' that delivers it at ~40°F.

There is a way to cut out the ecologically harmful cold chain but even the true believers are apparently too programmed (squeamish?) to adopt it. UHT, ultra-high temperature, makes milk safely shelf-ready for months of non-refrigerated storage but North Americans won't hear of it. (Refrigerator-limited Euros have been happy consumers for decades).

They say little changes make a big difference. Here you go, green-peacers.
