Designed and fabricated by Neologic Engineers, the module is a variable speed, tubular UHT plant.
In Ultra-Pasteurization process or UHT, milk is heated to ~ 145-degree centigrade and held for 4 seconds. This UHT heating kills all the spoiling bacteria and it creates a condition in milk for being shelf-stable and needs to be cooled down to 4 deg C i.e., it does not require refrigerated storage.
Keeping milk in good condition at room temperature for up to 6 months is a major challenge because of the myriad of changes which can take place. UHT Pasteurization increases the shelf life of the milk.
However, the major driver for its commercialization and widespread adoption was the development of aseptic packing whereby the sterilized milk is packed into sterile packages and hermetically sealed.
Benefits:
· Pasteurization process kills the harmful pathogens.
· Increase the shelf life of milk, we can store the milk without refrigeration.
· It is also recommended to people with a weaker immune system because its unique micronutrients can increase the immunity against various diseases.
