Uinta Brewing Violet Fire New Style Heavy Lager (Picked up at an Utah State Liquor Store in Salt Lake City). A 3 of 4. Smells of citrus and tropical fruit, and the body is quite clearly a relatively light lager body despite the name. Yet, it's refreshing and delivers a nice bit of lingering fruitiness in the finish.

4/5. To be honest this is the first peach IPA I have ever tried, so I do not have much to compare it to. However, for it being my first time trying one, I actually liked it after the first few sips of my taste buds being confused. The hops and peach flavor both compliment eachother without overpowering eachother. I really thought the IPA would lose some of the hops taste, but it tasted pretty consistent with a lot of Uinta's other IPA's, just with an additional peach taste. I will definitely purchase this again. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because with this being my first one, I dont feel a solid 5 is fair. Uinta Brewing Co, SLC Utah. Piggy Back Peach IPA.
