FESTIVAL GUIDE: BRITAIN
Music festivals are common around the world and every big city has the club or venue that has made its name known. In the United States, Las Vegas is known for its extravagant clubs and nightlife – and this is not including the hotel shows or gambling around the city. Los Angeles also has stadiums that are constantly in use and constantly booked. We might not expect this, but other parts of the world have club scenes that are even better than what we have in Nevada. The idea of the club or festival does not change around the world – but the culture and music can be very different. In the UK and Europe there is a larger demand for electronic music than there is here in the US. This is why raves that take place on Halloween are so overpopulated here, when in other parts of the world they may be common place. How about the UK, what is it like over there? The UK has the advantage of environment, as many of their festivals are thrown outdoor against the lush natural beauty of the country. If not this, then popular festivals that have started in the US, like EDC have also moved their venues across the pond. http://djmag.com/content/festival-guide-britain
