Story time.
Growing up being born and raised US American our mother from NYC was into a lot of British media. To the point both my brother and I were switching over with accents when talking. And he's like 21 and still will do a Brummy accent mid sentence. And though I was bullied out of most UK terms I stil years later after nearly getting run over did the UK version on the middle finger.
Idk what the main point of this post is but I guess Guy Ritchie has a hold on us.
My first attempt at making a crochet skirt without a pattern. I had just frogged a few rows before taking the picture because I didn’t like the shape.
This is top down. I started with making a strip of double crochet for the waistband, then made a ring of elastic and turned the strip into a tube around the elastic. Sorry, that was a long run on sentence. Then I joined the tube and did a round of treble crochet.
I grabbed my slip rings and marked every 10th stitch. Then I did another round, increasing 1 stitch on every 10th. It looks weird now but it is nowhere near finished. I frogged it after increasing one too many times. But it is all a learning process.
