Beech - about the timber species with English Woodlands Timber
Beech is pale Brown/pink with some reddish heart, streaking & occasional spalting. Fine, even grain, not durable but heavy and mechanically strong.It is hardly used as decorative wood, it is commonly used for flooring, manufacturing, plywood, and everyday household products like plates.
