If there is one thing that I would never regret in life, it's spontaneity --  going to unplanned trips and just swaying with life! Wait, that's too deep. Meh~

What I'm trying to say is that, while most of our friends went swimming or mountain climbing last Holy Week, Mr. O and I spent ours with some spontaneous trip to Tagaytay and ukay shopping there. Best decision of my life 'cause I was able to get these babies -- my DMs! :3 I've been looking for one in Anonas but can't spot any :( So imagine my excitement when I saw this in this one ukay in Tagaytay. I jumped and broke my sunglasses but I didn't care at all! Hahaha! Owning a DMs is far more important! Charot. 

Partnered it with my favorite fringe top from Topshop and thrifted metallic shorts. I feel like a rock star, beybeh!!

I think, everyone must have a pair of Doc Martens. The world will be a more beautiful place with everyone wearing it. Charot.

UkayOkay @ Karpos Shopping Fair (DAY 1 & 2)

So the first day of the fair was indeed a successful one. The two girls were our first customers and they bought like around 6 items from our store. They all went gaga over the dresses we're selling! I think they made a good buena mano 'cause we ended that day with almost half of our inventory. :)

I would like to thank my friends who dropped by at our booth! They waited for us until the last hour. Love my ever supportive friends! :)

Boyfriend arranged the bags like this. I didn't get it at first. Hehehe.

One thing I observed about Mr. O that night was how excited he is to give our business cards to every person dropping at our booth. Hahaha!

This blue stripes mullet dress was bought by an 80-year old grand mom. She bought all our maxi dresses. I was really smiling the whole time she's pointing to her son what she wants. She bought around P2,000 worth of items! Thanks lola! :)

By the last hour of the event, we marked down the items up to Php 100 and people went over to our booth and bought everything! Chos. We started the event with four bags (of items) and we went home with only a bag. It was indeed one successful fair for UkayOkay! Thank you to those who bought from us. We were so overwhelmed as how people embraced our store. Thank you so so much!! :)

One thing I love about the event is the fact that our booth was standing next to my new found friends -- Stylizta and Coexist. Camille Co wasn't there though. Her assistant told me that she knows about UkayOkay and that she thought I was only 17 years old. My photos were really deceitful. Hahaha!

UkayOkay will be joining the next Karpos Shopping fair happening on November 30-December 1! Same place and time. Please do drop by if you can!! :)

The Ukay Princess

Everything here is thrifted!! Would you believe it? Well, except for the turban which was from Forever21, lol.

The shirt is from Cotton On (thrifted, though). The shorts -- UHHHMAZZING! And the shoes? So Laureen Uy-ish! :3

Gotta love UNIQLO!

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

I went to one ukay shop in Kapasigan and there I found this sweet treasure!! I love the print and the cut! I was battling with myself if I should keep it since, hello!! it's UNIQLO! A Japanese brand that has now conquered Philippines (SM MOA)! But since it's a bit large for me...(sniff sniff) I am letting it go... :(
