Decided to end this blog, mainly because of these 2 things:
1) My reason for starting this blog was because I felt that uke Vegeta works were hard to come by, and I wanted a place where I could store all the good ones I found. And since I knew that there were other people who love uke Vegeta, I wanted to share this collection I had with the public. I would mainly browse tumblr, DA, R34, and y-gallery for uke Vegeta, and I felt there wasn’t enough of it on these sites. But when I signed up for pixiv and browsed there, I found out there was a TON of it there, and it was pretty easy to find too o_o At one point, it was getting hard to pull myself away from the computer, since so many uke Vegeta pics were in my recommendations after I faved some!
2) I think too many of the posts on this blog were posted/reblogged without getting permission from the original artist, and I’m guilty of this too, since I would post stuff that I found from R34. I guess I didn’t feel guilty about it before, because I felt it was giving the artists exposure, and that people who wanted to find more pics from the artist could search up the artist’s name (but that would only work if it was watermarked AND in a language that they understood). There’s also sourcing pics by linking to the original page too (though a bunch of my posts were unsourced x_x). But either way, I don’t think many people (including myself) would make time for checking out the original source, since the source is usually on a site that they don’t use, and they’d prefer it to be on a familiar site like tumblr so they can like and/or reblog it. With some sites, like pixiv, they limit access for non-registered users, so I felt like I was being more disrespectful to those communities by having their pics on this blog. Plus, it’s pretty rude to share someone’s art on tumblr without even letting the artist know about it. I know I would feel annoyed if someone did that to me D: Especially if they were sharing my art to try and get more popularity and followers for themselves (which I sort of did with this blog >_< Agh, kill me)
Anyhow, I don’t really feel like going through the blog and removing the stuff that was posted without permission. It’s easier to just remove the whole blog altogether (plus I was getting tired of running the blog, and rarely updated it XD maybe I’m getting bored of tumblr). Most of the posts on this blog came from pixiv anyways, so I’d recommend registering there to check out their uke Vegeta art :D When I first heard about pixiv, I stayed away from it because I couldn’t understand all the Japanese there (…and partly because I prefer an English Funimation Vegeta XD Still do). But now that there is an English version of the site, it’s much easier to navigate and use! Google translate can help too, though I mainly use it for translating the Japanese tags used, since it’s not good at translating whole sentences.
I figured I’d leave this up in case anyone’s wondering what happened to the blog. If you bookmarked a pic that was on the blog and don’t know where else to find it, you can ask me and I might be able to point you to the pic’s source. If I don’t answer, it’s because tumblr glitched and I didn’t receive it xD
