A final piece from me for the September 2022 #Scrawlrbox for the prompt Fascinating Folklore. Sadly, my subscription has come to an end, but this was a good box to end on. This is a Knucker, a small, semi-aquatic dragon which favours English rivers, lakes, wells or water logged quarries. It can't fly and has a venomous bite, enjoying a diet of small vertebrates, the occasional farm animal, or (if hungry and opportunity presents) children who stray too close to its nest.
