OOPS I HAVENT POSTED IN A HOT MINUTE. Anyways here are some more characters planned for Blind Man’s Bluff~

The Boy of Great Peach Island, Momotaro and his trusty peachy pals, Wan-Wan, Uki-Uki and Piyo-Piyo!

And the two step sisters of Atalanta; Avalon and Aeden… there might be a little more than meets the eye… or one… or three…?

Momotaro is obviously based on the story of Momotaro, the boy born from a peach and had a dog, monkey, and pheasant companion! Here, he might be willing to help The Stringmates out on getting their quest over with! If they don’t try any shenanigans, that is. No promises.

As for Avalon and Aeden, there’s a bit more. They follow the rule of 3’s. Unlike Adder (what I call Atalanta for short), they’re actually pure red apples as opposed to Adder being a golden apple. They’re also based on the story “Little One Eye, Little Two Eyes, Little Three Eyes” where One Eye and Three Eyes tease Two Eyes for only having two eyes, strangely enough…! Likewise, Avalon has an eye missing, probably from combat, Atalanta has both her eyes, and the only logical way I could give Aeden “three eyes” is by giving her a monocle, haha.

They’re also just based on the “evil stepsisters” trope in fairytales. Except when it comes to them versus Atalanta, you might find it’s… quite the opposite, actually. To an extent, at least.

In an island where every folk and fauna is made of peaches, Momotaro stands as the only human boy!

A long time ago, a tiny swaddled boy drifted in a raft through the waters, miraculously avoiding any dangerous obstacles that could have swiped him or swept him away as if a guardian angel was his sail. When his raft beached safely on the Great Peach Island, the peachy people considered his safety a miracle and in turn began to raise him as their own. He grew alongside the crowd, building his own confidence and strength as he got older, playing happily amongst his companions and forming his own peachy posse— a little group of fruit-bodied animals he’d met along his endeavors which he named Wan-Wan, Uki-Uki, and Piyo-Piyo! But it seems like life in this land— despite it being a part of the Tail’s End Islands— has been mostly easygoing, but the human boy’s got one new extremity from life here. A large peach pit that just… appeared on his stomach one day, apparently! It doesn’t hurt him. But if anything, it is a weak point. He doesn’t seem to know how it came to be, nor does he question it so much. He’s… not supposed to question it.

As a way to fit closer to the inhabitants, he might wear a crafted garb of his own to make him appear more like an actual peach. The clothes were made by the people, and there are certain times where it’s expected he wears them. As for why? Who knows! It’s certainly not to conceal his humanity from the Onis up on the higher mountainside! …Oh.

Well, he’s not afraid of the Onis like the rest of his people are. If anything, he could take one on lickety-split. For a boy of his stature, he’s got some move and impressive capabilities to keep up with them and overpower them with his pals, and with his trusty katanas to slice and deter away any wrongdoers! Those blades are his pride and joy! Nothing stands against him when he’s armed— they all fall down! He’d do anything to protect those babies… even if it meant leaving the island he was informed he should never vacate off of under any circumstances.

I have a design for Momo’s peach outfit the bio mentions but I haven’t finished that, but posting this anyway!
