Old vs new set up... I know the picture doesn't do justice but the pack on the left is around 40 lbs versus the green osprey which is around 26 lbs.

Pack update? Well I spend some money on a new pack which should be incredibly comfortable and lighter. I went from around 40 lbs pack to my new set up which is under 26 lbs for 4 days of food. That is a substantial difference.
AT update for 5/12
It’s been a while since I did any updating on my AT hiking status and since like 3 people are expecting me to post something substantial I might as well. I started the AT on April 22 did around 30 miles, got some serious knee problem and huge blisters on the backs of my feet was forced off trail for two weeks to recover. Got back to hiking this past Sunday and done like 70 miles in 5 days which is kinda incredible miles for a newbie. Taking my nero day and zero day in Franklin, NC and heading on trail Saturday morning. Let’s see where this adventure takes me…
Colombo, Sri Lanka
Similar to Singapore, Sri Lanka caters to many different religious groups. While exploring Colombo, I stumbled upon a Buddhist temple, a Mosque, a Reformed Protestant Church, and a Hindu Temple.
