Hello, stringed instrument side of tumblr. Does anyone know if there's a site to, like, put in the fingering of a chord, and find out the name? I keep making up chords on ukulele and not knowing what they're called!! Help!!

I want to teach myself have to play the ukulele. I'm really considering using a little bit of my tax return money to get one today... I kinda chickened out last time because I had a con coming up, but now that I don't have anything coming up again until next month AND I have a job, I'm really considering it... Anyone have any suggestions for starter brands? I've heard Makala are good starter ukuleles if you get new strings... I kinda want something made of wood though.

I put my fingers exactly where they're supposed to go for the Bbm chord and I just can't get it to make the sound it's supposed to no matter how hard I try??? What do I do?
