Pakka Pet: Ulie

Evolution Path: Boi > Chu > Ulie > Modernich

A preface is needed for this post since it is not the next main post for the Evolution Series. Rather, this post purely consists of my data. I had many, many screenshots, and even after narrowing the pictures down to the most essential ones, I still reached an image limit. I will create a link to the next Evolution Series post next to the (Previous Post) section above.

Due to college, I am not always able to maintain the best care for my Pakka, but in this case I was okay with my negligence because it helped me to discover something new.  As you can see, I didn’t take the best care of Jonas while it was a Ulie, but Jonas still evolved into Modernich, which seems to be a “high-maintenance” Pakka, but not the most demanding evolution for the Checkered Egg. I will go into more detail in the following post.

Notes

All pictures above are screenshots of Jonas BEFORE I proceeded to fill its Happy and Full meters, and fix any values that needed to be fixed, like Jonas’s Weight. This could be an inconsistency in my data as even though Jonas received bad care from me, it also received good care in return. 

Jonas’s Weight became Chubby at 4:35, and reverted back to Healthy at 7:30. Jonas also became Sick, Smelly, and Sleepy at 7:28, and all of these were fixed at 7:30.

Evolution Path: Boi > Chu > Ulie > ?

Look at that, some results! I was able to keep up with my Pakka throughout the day, routinely maxing its Happy and Full meters, and tending to what ever its needs were. However, as you can see in the stat screens above, there were some moments where Jonas’s Happy and Full meters fell when it was a Chu. I am unsure as to how long it takes for a circle to degrade, so exactly how long Jonas was neglected is unknown. I assume it couldn’t be more than an hour or two. The stat screen at 5:59 was actually taken right before I evolved Jonas, which could prove my hypothesis (explained in more detail in the previous post). If Ulie is a Pakka that results from “high-maintenance” (I believe the other two Teen Stages for the Checkered Egg are lower maintenance Pakka, but more testing is probably needed to prove that), then Happy and Full values might play a very minimal role just prior to evolution. But there is something else to note, the low Happy and Full values might only affect evolution if a Food item is not used to speed up evolution. After using the the Food item, a Pakka’s H/F values could be raised, making it evolve in a “high-maintenance” condition, overshadowing the previous neglect if there was any. Essentially, there could be a huge difference in how much value is in Happy and Full, and maybe even other values like Training and Weight, when a Pakka evolves. Although what I’ve said makes sense conceptually, more testing is needed, and that is okay! 

Ulie is absolutely adorable by the way, I’m happy my high-maintenance payed off~
