Iruka is bogged down with work but an unplanned visit brightens his day.
His brain was so muddled from lack of sleep that he left his phone at home two days in a row, not realizing it was still on his nightstand until he stepped onto his floor at work. Huffing in irritation when he realized the device was missing that morning, he threw himself into his work to drown out his annoyance.
He was in the middle of outlining a tedious character in the hospital campaign when he heard a knock on the doorjamb of the art lab. Not wanting to be interrupted, he ignored the disturbance until he heard the clearing of a throat. He glared at the individual since it was known to leave him alone when he was immersed in a project. That person knew it better than anyone.
“I’m busy. Talk to me later,” Iruka commanded, his attention returning to his task.
“Hey, want to grab some lunch?” Genma asked.
“Don’t have time. I have to get this image done before I leave tonight and I’m not even half done,” he replied, “Now go away so I can go home sometime tonight.”
“How about lunch with me instead?”
introducing; my evo au!! i wrote a drabble for it here!!
the idea of the au is that grian became a watcher, and became evil in the process, which ended up in the whole server being torn apart. grian ends up fixing things with the others, but is consistently horrible to taurtis, and doesnt let him leave the server (even when taurtis tries again and again to escape)
so basically... angst. with cute character designs.

"Intermodal First, Local Later"
BNSF ES44C4 No. 6565 leads a Westbound intermodal past with ES44C4 No. 8206 at the end of the train as a DPU. Shortly after the intermodal passed by, Union Pacific GP38-2s No. 665 (Ex-Missouri Pacific 2165) and GP15-1 No. 573 (Ex-Missouri Pacific No. 1573) pass on through with a Southbound local headed for the Roper Yard.

Hey I just wanted to pop in because I’ve read your evolution series what is probably definitely too many times And I know you’ve said that you hate purpose which i just don’t get because it is so… so sweet. I love that series and that story in particular with all my heart and you should be so proud of it. i’m looking forward to seeing what you have planned next for those characters if you continue to update :)
My heartttttttt <3 thankyou so very much for saying that 🥺🥹 Evolution as a whole is so important to me and it seriously means so much to me that you love it too! I think if I gave it some time and read purpose with an open mind, I would find it fitting - but honestly I just spent so much time trying to make that fic work how I wanted and I never felt like I really got it to that stage. Also knowing that behind the scenes I have a chunk of each fic in the series written already from when I first created this idea, and that I have given up on that particular fic and came back to it multiple times - honestly it's so much more just a representation of writers block that I never feel satisfied with it hahaha - but of course I still love the story and I absolutely can't wait to post the future fics in the series, as I said, it's super important to me and very close to my heart!!!! You seriously have no clue how special it is for me to get messages like this, thankyou for sending me this and supporting my fics <3 <3 <3
