People as Garbage

Damn the country that makes this possible. Where are the government services that allow this to happen? Ulingan, Tondo by Port Area Manila is so blighted by the urban poor that it needs to be pointed out to humanitarian organizations. There are hordes of people, very poor people that live like sewer rats by the piles of wooden crates and discarded pallets from ships that dock in the ports. Women…

charcoal man *looking back at the whole experience of accompanying Josia in these parts of the metro is a joy. im glad i did not back out(which i almost did). i was introduced to this part of Manila that i only heard of... and i know that situation there is bad(safety,health-wise etc) but i didnt realize it was that bad.And to be physically present in the middle of all these dump, it was a shock to the senses.
